Dear sister Marilyn,

Our deepest condolences and love to you and your family.  Brother Andrew, one of God’s most faithful and prudent servants, is now with the Lord whom he loved and served with his whole being. The saints of the churches in New Jersey thank the Lord for giving us such a minister, who was so constituted with the divine truth and constantly dispensed eternal life to us, but we are saddened that we lost an older brother and a wonderful shepherd. While our loss cannot compare with yours, we wanted to share some words of encouragement and love regarding our brother. We are praying for you, John, and Anna during this difficult time. May our Lord strengthen you and comfort you by His sufficient grace.

Brother Andrew has been a true benefactor to us for the past 20+ years. He came to New Jersey numerous times to help and to strengthen our church life here. His leadership in the New Jersey Summer Perfecting Training marked a great milestone for the churches in New Jersey. He led us to consecrate ourselves to Christ and the church and to be filled with the Holy Spirit, which issued in a revival among us. This sanctifying fire not only spread all over North America, but also propagated soon after to the entire island of Taiwan and many Far East countries. Our dear brother set an excellent pattern to all of us and inspired many to follow in his footsteps to serve the true and living God. We treasure our brother’s portion and deeply appreciate the fruits of his labor.

Brother Andrew fought the good fight; he finished the course; he kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for him the crown of righteousness, with which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will recompense him in that day, and not only him but also all those who have loved His appearing.

Our dear brother will be greatly missed. May the Lord’s presence be with you, John, and Anna.
